Gordon Larkin is a photographer, who is originally from Dublin. At the age of 17 Gordon decided to leave home and head to London in search of work and a new life. He quickly came to realise that the streets were not paved with gold, on the contrary, the streets of London where more often cold, wet and very lonely.
Fast forward 30 years and Gordon is happy to say that he has walked away a much stronger person with a greater knowledge and understanding but more importantly an appreciation of street life.
Gordon would describe himself as an amateur photographer. He is self taught and his passion is street photography, which he uses to interpret the world around him. Gordon sees it as a spontaneous response to life as it happens in front of his eyes. He is quite comfortable in this environment and many a weekend Gordon can be found prowling the streets and markets in search of that decisive moment!Share this
