EARTH: LET THE “TRUTH” SPEAK… FOR ALL WE KNOW AND CONTINUE TO DISCOVER

Photography has the innate power to document a point in time through composition to capture.

When I look through the lens on the camera there is a moment of mutual engagement… a desire to create photographic images of energy and unconventional beauty, produced with great sensitivity and artistic integrity which leaves a lasting impression.

I prefer not to categorise my photographic journey as my chosen subject will forever change. The one constant is I will always try to be authentic in what I do. One thing I have learnt through my travels is the world is a beautiful place and I always want to celebrate that beauty.

Immerse yourself in the visual world of my new project, “FIRE & ICE.”

In the past 12 months I have had the good fortune to set foot on two truly diverse landscapes, Namibia and Greenland… they are unique and equally beautiful to photograph. As far as wake-up calls go, looking through the shimmering heat at the sand dunes of Sossusvlei, or the icebergs silently slipping through the ice cold waters of Disko Bay, can only be described as an over-joyous feeling and up there with the best “scape” views I have had the privilege of witnessing.

My inspiration for “Fire & Ice,” exhibiting for the first time at the London Photo Show, combines images from Namibia and Greenland, and in a meaningful way, transforms these two truly diverse landscapes into detail which bring a contrasting dynamism to the compositions.

These captivating visuals celebrate the various states of fragility, the differing shapes, patterns, textures and colours one finds in sand dunes and icebergs.
