FAQ's

There are loads of options depending on size and mount, but here is a ballpark figure: a 40x50cm print in a frame is around £90 per print and a bit more if you add in a mount, so say £110-£120.

Or you could make a print and frame it yourself yourself which would be a bit cheaper e.g. around £22 for a Neilsen 40x50cm frame plus £15-£35 per print and mount depending on paper type.
Another option is to print on foamex which is around £80 per print for a 40x50cm.

Full details and online booking facilities are available here.

We’d like you to supply some information about yourself to be displayed alongside your prints and we’d like to include this and a link to your online portfolio on our website. You’ll be asked to submit this information after you have completed your registration.

The London Photo Show: Southbank takes place at the Bargehouse Gallery, Oxo Tower Wharf, South Bank, from 14-17 November 2024 (12 and 13 Nov are installation days and 18 Nov is de-installation).

Yes, although that is not the primary reason to take part. Someone may love your print so much that they want to buy it. If your print is for sale we recommend including a contact number or email with the information to be displayed alongside your print so that the buyer can contact you directly. If someone wants to buy your print they will contact you directly so you can handle the sale. We don’t charge a commission.

You can include a diagram with your prints and we will attempt to adhere to it, but our hanging team may adjust it depending on the space you are in.

No. If you’re not yet sure of which photos to submit we recommend you enter now. You need to have your prints ready and delivered to the gallery on the installation day.

Yes. Use the contact us page and we’ll send you details of how we can help, including some advice sessions.

You need to deliver your prints to the gallery on 12 November and collect them on the evening of 17 Nov or morning of 18 Nov. We’ll give you detailed instructions on how and when to deliver and collect your work.

Photos can be in any format as long as they can be attached to a wall. They must be framed or mounted. Framed or prints on heavier mounts such as dibond, metal or wood must have a hook on the back. Lighter mounts such as card or foamboard don’t need this. Prints will be displayed in the same format as they are provided by you to the show.

One of the highlights of the London Photo Show is the Private View evening. We would love to see you there and you can bring a reasonable number of guests. We need to have a rough idea of the numbers of people attending so will ask you how many people you’ll be bringing.

The London Photo Show is organised by the same people who run the 36exp Photographers’ School.
