I am a figurative painter and a photographer. I became involved in the visual arts after establishing myself as a health professional. While I see myself primarily as a landscape and nature photographer, I also enjoy exploring subjects such as wildlife and architecture. Recently, I have been experimenting with multiple exposures and Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). This creative process has led to four distinct projects:
• The New Forest, Hampshire, UK – 2022
• Bird of Paradise, near Athens, Greece – 2022
• Mediterranean Summer, near Athens, Greece – 2024
• La Quinta del Berro Park, Madrid, Spain – 2025
All images are created entirely in-camera, without the use of Photoshop. These techniques are both exciting and liberating, allowing me to break the conventional rules of composition and focus instead on the emotional experience of place ( “How does it feel to be here?” ). The results are spontaneous, painterly, abstract images—rich in colour, texture, and depth. You would be able to see more images from each project in my new website that will be launch a few days just ahead of the exhibition opening.
