I am a social documentary and portrait photographer, based in London. I believe that photography is a powerful tool that can reveal much about society and the human condition. It’s why I’m motivated to take photographs that tell us something about people and the world we live in – to tell stories through images. That could be a studio portrait, an environmental portrait or a photo essay. It’s all about capturing the essence of the moment and the person.
At this year’s London Photo Show I’m displaying some photographs from a long-term series highlighting our wasteful society and the innovative and passionate people who are turning waste into new products to be loved and re-used.
Educated at the British Academy of Photography, the University of Warwick and John Moores University in Liverpool I’ve followed my heart into photography. I work with businesses, charities and individuals to help them communicate their message, whether it’s their personal brand or a local story of local or national significance. My work has been published in local newspapers and has been exhibited across London.
