Vertic Arts

Vertic Arts Ltd. was established in 2014 by John Vaughan and Magdalena Collins. The idea was to share our passion of photography through a retail website offering artwork and photographic services. The development and maintenance of the website has been, and continues to be, a long and interesting journey.

The work displayed here is just one example of what we like to achieve. Many other pieces in various formats can be seen on the website.

Our work has been exhibited in London, Zurich and Los Angeles.

I am a figurative painter and a photographer. I became involved in the visual arts after establishing myself as a health professional. While I see myself primarily as a landscape and nature photographer, I also enjoy exploring subjects such as wildlife and architecture. Recently, I have been experimenting with multiple exposures and Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). This creative process has led to four distinct projects:

• The New Forest, Hampshire, UK – 2022
• Bird of Paradise, near Athens, Greece – 2022
• Mediterranean Summer, near Athens, Greece – 2024
• La Quinta del Berro Park, Madrid, Spain – 2025

“Nature whispers….those who listen find peace -“

Flowers gracefully sway in the wind like dancers do to music.

They dance, perform to us, showing off their magic as they fill our lives with beauty, colour and mesmerizing scent.

I am a true believer in the preservation of nature in all its magnificence and I seek to awaken this awareness through my photography and art.

Stephen Sunnucks

After a successful international career in fashion, London-based fine-art photographer Stephen Sunnucks made the decision to focus his time on his art and has never regretted the change.
Stephen has always felt himself drawn to the themes of “identity, abandonment, and stories untold, particularly in the streets of London and the English sea-side towns that represent a large part of his youth.

Stephen’s distinctive photographs, frequently stripped bare of excessive detail, reflect his intuitive presentness, often revealing emotions hidden or stories untold, moments of time captured by his keen eye.
