David is drawn to quiet places. The photographs in this exhibition are restrained, still and speak in low tones. They suggest more than they show. He shoots mainly on digital, but occasionally uses 120 and 5×4 film cameras.
A former photojournalist, David Harden’s early career was shaped by the urgency of the late ’80s and early ’90s, inspired by those who captured the realities of a rapidly changing world with clarity and compassion. His work appeared in national and international newspapers and magazines, and later he served as a picture editor. Now photography provides a creative release from his current role in electric and hydrogen vehicle product development.
