Helen Campbell has always been an artist, even from an early age, but it was only 2 years ago that she discovered photography as an expression of the artist within her. Helen’s genre has evolved over the 2 years; initially food photography, then street and then portraits. But her desire to photograph horses sat quietly waiting for the right time; the right moment.
The bond between horse and human is primitive and old; a trust that is deep in our souls. This bond intrigued Helen; compelling her to capture those fleeting moments of intimacy.
Helen’s camera becomes her brush and light becomes her paint. Helen has a mind of a photographer but the soul of an artist.
