A former City of London Police Detective, Dan is a street photographer, an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) and the Competitions Secretary of the City of London & Cripplegate Photographic Society. The photographs selected for the London Photo Show are from an ongoing project called ‘Lonely Hearts’, which explores the dislocation many young males feel from society. Candid subjects are shown dissociated from their background through the use of monochrome, a slow shutter speed and ICM.
