Kim Saint

My photography journey started with a trek in India over 20 years ago and the inspiration came from a photo that I took of an elder in a remote village, orange turban, a face full of whiskers and his life etched in the lines on his face.

From there I experimented with different genre’s, but returning to India a few years later, I discovered a passion for wildlife on seeing my first tiger, so close I could hear her breath.

I found my niche, with my passion for wildlife, especially big cats. It evokes the excitement of the unknown, where will they move to, what have they seen, what are they thinking when you make that perfect eye contact through the lens.

My photography has taken me to many places around the world, Borneo, Kenya, South Africa, Sri Lanka and back to India many times, for the elusive Bengal tiger.

Along with travel, I photograph big cats at a local Sanctuary in Kent, which is recognized for its dedication to conservation and rescuing big cats around the world.

I am a self taught photographer and I am evolving every time I look through the lens. I love to share my photography and the stories behind the moments that I have captured through my lens on my journey through the world of wildlife photography.
