I am an Italian-born landscape photographer and traveller currently based in Cambridge, UK.
With focus on quasi-minimal compositions and by using long-exposure and post-processing techniques, I explore the introspective link between wild landscapes and the feeling of peaceful, silent timelessness they evoke. From the snowy Norwegian arctic to the desert plains of Namibia, I am mostly drawn to wide, empty sceneries photographed in the softness of sunset or sunrise.
For me, photography hence becomes the visual representation of a journey celebrating the beauty of the natural world and its elemental forces. Together, they help reminding us of our ephemeral yet privileged place in it.
The exhibition contains a selection of landscapes from different part of the world and part of an ongoing series called “Desertica”.
