Marco Tiboni

I’m an Italian Graphic Designer and Photographer living in London since 8 years.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, probably my way to communicate.

I love the way that seemingly mundane moments could be captured and transformed into true beauty, freezig a moment that could still be powerful many years after.

I love travelling with my camera and capture moments, faces and scenes.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskind

Sue Windsor

My name is Sue Windsor. I’m a Detective in the Metropolitan Police.

I have always been creative and enjoy many art forms. My job means I have seen lots of the less pleasant side of London. Taking photos gives me an opportunity to capture the many other aspects of ‘Life in London’.

My dad, Harry was a Londoner. After he retired he spent many hours exploring the City, always making sure he took regular pub breaks ! My photos in this exhibition are inspired by his love of London.

I decided to just grab my camera and walk around the streets to see what I came across. My aim was to take candid, natural shots. I was not disappointed with what I saw and took images I found both personally compelling and that I felt told part of a story.

Mark Adri-Soejoko

I’m a completely amateur photographer.

The pictures relate to memories of my life in London and dealing with the loss of my parents over the last 8 years. My father to dementia and illness in 2013 and my mother’s murder in 2017 and now my decision to leave London this year.

This is about a life in London that is now over. This is a way of saying goodbye.

The pictures are of things and places that trigger my memories and emotions both good and bad. This is not a documentary, the memories are sometimes vague and possibly wrong but they are what I remember right now. They will all touch on my relationship to my recent history.

Leanne Suttle

My project is inspired by the rainbow symbol and what it has represented over the past two very difficult years. During the pandemic the rainbow symbol brought a lot of joy and a sense of unity amongst us, celebrating the hard work of the NHS, promoting diversity and inclusivity.

Photography has given me the confidence to explore and find myself as a person and I can honestly say I feel I’ve finally found myself. Before this project I couldn’t travel alone, especially on the train but by taking part in this project and challenging myself I acomplished travelling and taking photographs in public.
