Rob Romig-Fox
Although I have several photography interests, my main passion is to create fine art photographic portraits that bring out the “who”, “the essence” of the people I photograph. Through my portraits I seek to inspire viewers to place themselves in the shoes of my subjects. With my portraits, I work to capture specific moments on the life-path journeys my subjects are traveling, alone or with others. Finally, I hope by sharing my images that they will invoke not only empathy, but also a sense of wonder for those appearing in the photographs.
All my fine art photography works are mono-chromatics. I call this line of my photographic work “Contemporary Vintage.”
My other photography interests center on macro, architecture and scenic images. Here my focus is to create images that hold viewers interest for more than a passing glance. Plus, I want viewers to be motivated to mentally place themselves within or at the setting I have captured as an image.
I hold an AA Degree in Photography Technology and an AC in Digital Imaging from Washtenaw Community College; a BS Degree in Social Science/Economics from Eastern Michigan University; and an AA Degree in Liberal Arts from Lansing Community College.
Michael Whitehouse
I have been taking pictures since I was given my first camera at the age of ten but have only been exhibiting since 2016. A Londoner for over forty years, I now divide my time between there and South-West France.
I held my first exhibition there in 2016 entitled Londres, Jour et Nuit (London, Day and Night). This was my chance to show my personal view of London to the French. I have since held five further exhibitions in France.
For this, my first exhibition in London, I have chosen a selection of my work in both France and the UK, which illustrates my strong attraction to abstract form, colour and light.
Exhibitor Stories – Pauline Godwin

Pauline Godwin exhibited at the London Photo Show in 2018 and 2019, and we’re please to say she will be back in 2020.
We caught up with Pauline, to find out a but more about her photography.
Three years ago, after her children had grown up, Pauline developed a passion for photography and now helps run her local camera club.
She loves photographing all things and sees the world through different eyes with a camera in her hand, but British wildlife and landscapes are her favourite subjects. One of her photos was highly commended in British Wildlife Photographer Of The Year 2019 and was exhibited at the Mall Gallery and published in a book.
Exhibitor Stories: Guillaume Descamps

Photographers for all over the world take part in the London Photo Show. In 2019, Paris based photography Guillaume Descamps exhibited at the Bargehouse and he’ll return in 2020.

I got into photography when I moved to London in 2011 and wanted to share
with my new life my family by showing them decent pictures. From then I learn by
myself how to use a DLSR camera, either from other photographers or online.
Exhibitor Stories: Janet Baylis

At the London Photo Show, we feel enriched by the number of talented and engaging photographers that we’ve been lucky enough to meet at the exhibition. Something we love the most is the diversity of backgrounds that our exhibitors come from.
We asked Janet Baylis, who exhibited with us in 2019 and returns in 2020, what her story was, she told us:
I think probably what inspired my photography the most in the beginning was my devotion to dance – I love to see how the power and pattern of dance, and dancer’s shapes can be expressed through images.

5 Ways To Raise Your Profile As A Photographer

Imagine chatting to a photography friend who recently sold a print for £350. You congratulate her only to find our that it was the fourth print she has sold this month. Brilliant for your friend, but you ask yourself why she is having so much success when you take equally good photos and you’ve never sold a thing? It’s probably because you didn’t build your reputation as a photographer.
Have you ever wondered why some photographers get to spend the winter shooting fashion in Cape Town, while the majority stay at home battling the beast from the east?
