London Photo Show – December 2016

16 exhibitors displayed an amazing feast of work covering everything from travel, nature, art nude, urban, architecture, landscape and documentary photography. People displayed between one and twelve prints in their 2m space. Prints were again produced to a super high quality on everything from metal to canvas.
Bhav Gulabivala – Exhibitor 2016
December 2016 London Photo Show Award Winner, Bhav Gulabivala is a London based photographer. Working in the fashion industry, he has a keen interest in style, people and also travel, which neatly crosses over into his photography. The photos on display are mostly taken from his Lifestyle portfolio.
Storytelling and capturing unique moments in time are Bhav’s speciality, whether that be the street band in Istanbul or the tattoo artist at work at a Berlin fashion show. He has undertaken various commissions including a retrospective on Bermondsey, an exploration of neon in Soho and more traditional projects, such as wedding and portraiture shoots. He also works with a number of corporate clients.
Chris Caeser – Exhibitor Dec 2016
He has been shooting landscapes for over 11 years and works out of his gallery in York. His work has been exhibited in galleries across the country and he is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society. His inspiration is the British landscape and the diversity of photographic material that can be found within it, from the rugged cliffs and crags of the coast to the tranquil beauty of the sweeping hills and valleys of the lakes, moors and dales.
When Chris is not out in the landscape building his portfolio he can be found teaching one of his many photographic workshops that are based in and around the UK and Venice. Courses range from one day photography workshops to more intensive, residential three and four day courses that also include overviews on the editing process using lightroom and photoshop. Carmen Stoian – Exhibitor Dec 2016
Photography is the story I fail to put in words.
Carmen has always been an artistic and creative soul. From the moment she discovered herself and the world around her, she would spend her time drawing and painting, incorporating fashion design in her teens .
Although Carmen embraced photography about 10 years ago, she always took pictures with her eyes.
Photography is a magical kind of art, an infinite inspiration and energy, spontaneity and freedom. She strives to capture the moment’s spirit, timeless images.
Alison Baskerville – Exhibitor 2016
Alison Baskerville is a freelance documentary photographer based in the UK.
After graduating with a Masters in Photojournalism from the University of Westminster she has covered areas affected by conflict such as Afghanistan, Gaza, Mali, Iraq and Somaliland.
A former member of the Armed Forces, Alison is still engaged in the aftermath of war and regularly works either independently or on commission for non-governmental organisations and media outlets.
Using narratives which combine recorded interviews and images, Alison works towards storytelling with integrity and a focus on the representation of the subjects. Her work has been exhibited across the UK and Europe.
Esther Serrano – Exhibitor Dec 2016
Esther Serrano is a Spanish artist based in London. She purchased her first camera shortly after the birth of her eldest daughter, in order to document her childhood as she grew up. Years later she began drawing and painting, and gradually these hobbies developed into a passion.
In 2010 she completed the two year City Lit Fine Art Course, and in 2011 David Cranswick introduced her to the traditional painting methods and materials of the European Old Masters.
Embarking late on an artistic career as a figurative artist, Esther is fascinated by people, light and shadow, reflections and textures. She enjoys working in a variety of mediums, her favourite being the one she is using at the time.
Her paintings and linocuts were exhibited at the Society of Women Artist at Mall Galleries, London in June 2014; and was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2013, and the Royal Portrait Society in 2016.
Recently, she has become a member of the Muswell Hill Photographic Society, and won the Mike McCArthy Photographic Award for Art in Nature 2016.

Adam Tucker is a West Country raised London based photographer whose adventures have taken him all over the world.
From an early age, he’s captured the beauty of the world around him – from Devon, Dublin to Asia and the Americas and takes delight in sharing these experiences with others through his work.
The images here represent some of his urban wanderings and his ability to see his adopted city – both familiar and unfamiliar – in new and exciting ways.

My passion for photography started years ago with my first camera. I haven’t stopped taking photographs since.

Having been a social worker for many years, I decided to retire and devote my time entirely to the world of photography. Traveling throughout Europe taking images of interesting people and places.
Photography and art is a window to many worlds. Besides looking to shoot fascinating photos there are still images in my head from my time as a social worker leaving an impression on me to make these images: Poverty,drugs, loneliness, sadness, but alsohumanity and beauty.
