Jannine Saunders is a self-taught photographer. Shooting in black and white, she steals rare and honest moments of everyday people interacting with the world around them. Her photographs are often emotive, offbeat and display different areas of society and human behaviour within urban landscapes.
“I’m naturally drawn to contrasting and personal moments; the private lives of people happening publicly. For me, my photography is about empathy, about capturing moments of feeling that make you feel too.”
