In 2021 after 15 years in the Metropolitan police in London, I moved to France, bought my first mirrorless camera and rediscovered my love and passion for photography, in particular fine art street photography.
Drawing from the skills and experiences gained from my years in the police, interacting, engaging and dealing with differing people in ever-changing situations, I try to look at things in front of me from an alternative point of view and at all angles.
I mainly shoot in black and white and enjoy the use of negative space and the visual impact that can create. Solitude; “The state of being alone without being lonely.”
